A Case of Misunderstanding
I was attending a wedding dedication this afternoon and was seated among the youth somewhere in the middle of the hall.
Halfway through, a friend of mine suddenly appeared next to me, signalling that he wanted to seat next to me. The problem was that i was seated at the far right of the row and there was no more seat next to me. In order not to create attention, I quickly asked Yvonne who was next to me to move a seat to the left to make way for this friend of mine. As the result everyone in that row had to move a seat to the left. Pai Seh.
But I was quite happy. I was thinking to myself that "Wow. My friend really wanted to seat with me and spend time with me." I was encouraged.
But, in less than 5 minutes, he asked to change seat again, and this time he asked another friend who seated a row behind me to change seat with him. I was a bit puzzled. The last row was already full with other youths.
Heck. It just dawned that he wanted to sit next to me so that he can get one seat to swap with the guy at the row behind me, so that he could help Rachel to write songs for Father's Day. Haha. And I was thinking about how blessed i am to have such a caring friend at the moment. (not that he is not) Haha. Just that moment.
Anyway, it's not his fault anyway la. I dont blame him. It was just a funny case of misunderstanding.
