Old Testament

After a long long while, our Old Testament course finally coming to an end. Through the many weeks, we have learned a lot about the OT, argued on many bible verses and its implications, laughed at certain biblical characters and puzzled at the way the people reacted during the olden days. We questioned God and His ways, only to find out that God has no obligations to explain why He acted in a particular way, which make most of our arguing pointless. Haha.

Our course Professor, Dr.Vincent Ooi has an interesting way to teach us the subject. More often than not, he will present us with difficult theologies and challenged our view towards the OT and God. It is fortunate that that we still remain a Christian after the course.

All in all, we had a good time studying the Old Testament together. I now have a clearer picture of the Old Testament. Through the course, I've also seen how God's unconditional love permeates through the all the books of Old Testament. He is indeed the same God, yesterday, today and forever.
